The 2018-2019 season saw PairConnex’s first international projects, more specifically in Europe. Until very recently, the company’s growth was concentrated in Canada, mainly via word of mouth and its team’s professional network. The strength of a good network being what it is, over the last year, PairConnex was able to cross paths with foreign companies that were also interested in smart matchmaking.
Among these encounters was the team of Mission Internationale, a company that provides consulting on international expansion and exports. Mission Internationale’s team also organizes the Rencontres d’affaires francophones, the largest cross-industry Francophone business conference in France.
For this event, PairConnex was tasked with providing a B2B matchmaking solution for participants. The conference took place on November 8, 2018, at the Maison de la Mutualité in Paris and brought together over 1,000 participants.
PairConnex’s mandate was twofold:
The event, which also included large plenary presentations as well as an exhibition hall, was a great success. As for the B2B meetings that PairConnex helped organize, the statistics were impressive:
In short, this first international project, delivered 100% remotely from Montréal, Canada, was a superb experience for the company and a great success.
PairConnex is therefore pleased to be joining the second edition of Rencontres d’affaires francophones, which will take place on November 28, 2019, at the Marriott Rive Gauche, in Paris. For this second experience, in addition to providing the B2B networking solution, PairConnex will also be among the event’s official partners. This is a special opportunity for the smart matchmaking experts to meet other prospective clients in Europe and to support their French partners.
In addition to these two projects for the Rencontres d’affaires francophones, PairConnex is also working on a pilot project for the Chambre de commerce et d’industrie (CCI) Lyon Métropole in order to implement a business group concept based on smart matchmaking and inspired by the Business Clans in Montréal. This pilot project, called CCI Business Link, will take place in fall 2019 and will allow businesspeople from this area to participate in networking groups created using PairConnex’s algorithm. A unique opportunity to make targeted connections with other companies. Are you outside of Canada and interested in learning more about smart matchmaking? Feel free to contact PairConnex. Our tools are 100% customizable and can be adapted to every language and concept.
